Unusual Gardens not only give people something to talk about, they also give you a great chance to express yourself to people. And usually, they love it. Think about it – don’t you just adore to see a special backyard?
You can often develop a fairly good idea of someone’s personality simply by thinking about their gardening ideas. This can demonstrate whether they are extraverted with plants and color blooming all over or if they prefer instead a more organized and regimented approach to life.
A conventional backyard does not express anything about the owner. But a special backyard can show many varied aspects of the personality. So have courage, express yourself!
Planting your backyard gives you the opportunity to select the colors and plants that make you feel good. You can choose to add shrubs that have scents that you enjoy or that remind you of some place that you once lived in or visited.
Just like your clothes, your backyard design will change with the changing seasons. Although plants do this by themselves, you have a lot of choice. You are able to plan your landscape to brighten up a dull time of year, or to add shade and cool in a hot summer. Adding colored containers and sculpture can brighten up a winter garden and add contrast to the more colorful seasons.
You may want to alter the character of the backyard as you make changes in your life so that one year is never the same as the next or you may choose to have everything remain the same, the way that an old tree stands from one year to the next.
Often, a more quiet person may dress in a conventional way, but they find they are able to be much more revealing in their backyard so they have unusual gardens. Seeing your backyard get a lot of attention is not the same as receiving a lot of attention for yourself. Give it a try – many people find it is fine to have a backyard that the world is discussing!
A garden can affect your mood for the better and cause you to feel good just being there. It can make you see that the important things in life are the little things that are with us all of the time. A garden is a mass of life and the garden will always support someone who wants to share in the beauty of that life.
It is no wonder that so many of us love to garden. The ever-changing beauty of a garden demonstrates the perfection of creation and inspires love in our hearts. Doesn’t that just make you want to start right now and design one of the most expressive and unusual gardens in your street?
