| Reflect, remember, reconnect. The Hudson Gardens opens to the community at no charge annually on Patriot Day. |
| Fall Container Workshop, Tuesday, September 21, 6 — 8 PM |
| Don’t leave your annual containers empty through the fall months! Learn how to use your imagination and creativity to create beautiful arrangements that combine flowers, branches, wood, and other organic elements that will reflect the spirit of autumn. Annie Huston, co-founder to Columbine Design, will introduce you to cold-hardy plants and techniques that can extend the life of your container planting through the cooler weather and freezing nights. Class includes a workshop wherein participants create their own fall arrangements. Please bring a garden pot (18″ in diameter or smaller) and soil—all plant material will be provided.
The class will be held at the Inn at Hudson Gardens. Cost is $40/person. Contact The Hudson Gardens’ Education Department at (303) 797-8565 ext. 306 to register. |
