Denver Garden in July – Andrea’s place

in Colorado Gardening, Denver Garden - Zone 5, Plants for Colorado, perennials

Beauty abounds in the garden in July. The sweet scent of tall trumpet lilies fill the evening air.  Daylilies are in full swing, except for a few of them that bloom later anyway.  The promise of hoards of golden rudbeckia flowers are just around the corner.

This is the time of year I wished I lived on at least an acre, instead of my postage-stamp sized suburban lot. All I can think of are the other plants I don’t have room for. A bit of plant-envy, if you will.
